Nativity Story - Kids' Project

             The Nativity Story

Introduction

The Nativity story tells us about the birth of Jesus Christ

It is one of the most important stories in the Bible and is celebrated every Christmas.

This story teaches us love, peace, hope, and joy.

The Angel Visits Mary

Mary lived in Nazareth.

One day, the angel Gabriel came to her with a special message from God.

He told her she would have a very special baby, and His name would be Jesus, the Son of God. Mary trusted God and agreed.

Mary and Joseph travelled a long distance to Bethlehem for the census.
Bethlehem was Joseph’s hometown. The roads were busy and the journey was tiring, but they trusted God.

No Room in the Inn

When they reached Bethlehem, all the inns were full.
A kind innkeeper let them stay in a stable where animals slept.

Jesus is Born

In that quiet stable, baby Jesus was born.
Mary wrapped Him in cloth and placed Him in a manger.

The Shepherds Hear the Good News

Shepherds were watching their sheep at night. Suddenly, angels appeared.

They said, “A Savior has been born!”

The shepherds hurried to see baby Jesus.
They went from their fields into Bethlehem.
There they found Mary and Joseph and Baby Jesus in the stable.

The Wise Men Follow the Star

Far away, wise men from the East saw a bright star.
They followed it to Bethlehem and brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

They worshipped the newborn King.

Conclusion

The Nativity story reminds us that Jesus came into the world to bring love, peace, hope, and joy. Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus, the Light of the World.

Christmas BudgetπŸŽ„

πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸŽ„✨✨🎁

Christmas is coming, and my heart is already filled with excitement!

Among all the festivals, the one I enjoy the most is Christmas. As soon as Diwali finishes, my preparations begin.

I love cleaning, organising, and decorating our home so it feels fresh and festive. Planning outfits, arranging home dΓ©cor, family gatherings, attending night prayers at church — it all brings so much joy and meaning to the season.

Over the years, I realised how exhausting last-minute planning can be.

So now, I start preparing from November itself.

With Christmas and New Year arriving back-to-back, planning ahead ensures that we enjoy every moment peacefully.

  • Christmas Budget

A joyful celebration becomes even more beautiful when it is planned well — financially too.

Before the season begins, it’s important to review our budget and set aside funds specifically for Christmas. Avoid using your regular monthly money meant for necessities.

Instead, make a small monthly contribution towards Christmas expenses throughout the year. This simple habit ensures we celebrate freely without stress, and enter January without struggling to meet essential needs.

A well-planned holiday is not only happier — it is peaceful and meaningful too. ✨

Here is a sample budget plan for you. Feel free to adjust it as per your needs and preferences.

A Quick Look at Next Week

Next week at a glance # Weekly Plan

Even though I have tried many different planning methods to organize myself, nothing worked for me until I found this one.

When I used to prepare daily to-do lists, I was rarely able to complete them, because no day happens exactly according to plan.

Life keeps changing — demands of the day, health issues, mood swings, energy levels, unexpected tasks, etc.

If I could not complete a daily to-do list, I would feel regretful and stressed.

But when I started preparing weekly plans instead, I felt relaxed.

If I am not able to finish a task on a particular day, I still have the flexibility to complete it within the week.

I still try to finish tasks on the planned day, but the weekly window gives me breathing room and reduces stress.

Keep it simple. Don't overload it with too many things. Just give it a try.
