The Nativity Story
Introduction
The Nativity story tells us about the birth of Jesus Christ.
It is one of the most important stories in the Bible and is celebrated every Christmas.
This story teaches us love, peace, hope, and joy.
The Angel Visits Mary
One day, the angel Gabriel came to her with a special message from God.
He told her she would have a very special baby, and His name would be Jesus, the Son of God. Mary trusted God and agreed.
Mary and Joseph travelled a long distance to Bethlehem for the census.
Bethlehem was Joseph’s hometown. The roads were busy and the journey was tiring, but they trusted God.
No Room in the Inn
When they reached Bethlehem, all the inns were full.
A kind innkeeper let them stay in a stable where animals slept.
Jesus is Born
In that quiet stable, baby Jesus was born.
Mary wrapped Him in cloth and placed Him in a manger.
The Shepherds Hear the Good News
Shepherds were watching their sheep at night. Suddenly, angels appeared.
They said, “A Savior has been born!”
The shepherds hurried to see baby Jesus.They went from their fields into Bethlehem.There they found Mary and Joseph and Baby Jesus in the stable.
The Wise Men Follow the Star
Far away, wise men from the East saw a bright star.They followed it to Bethlehem and brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
They worshipped the newborn King.
Conclusion
The Nativity story reminds us that Jesus came into the world to bring love, peace, hope, and joy. Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus, the Light of the World.
